Servativ Case Study: A SmartCleaning Service Platform

As the Head of Product Design at SinanSoft, I led the comprehensive design initiative for Servativ, a smart cleaning service platform developed for Kleanwerex. My leadership was instrumental in guiding the project from initial concept & strategic vision to the delivery of a robust, user-centric mobile application now live on both Google Play & the App Store.

Project Overview

Servativ was conceived to empower Kleanwerex with real-time job management capabilities, from scheduling & task assignment to notifications. The primary goal was to reduce reliance on manual communication (e.g., phone calls) & enhance operational clarity for a cleaning service business.

Project Overview

1. Discovery & Research

We began by diving deep into the existing workflows of Kleanwerex. Through user interviews with cleaning professionals & managers, we identified key pain points related to job scheduling, communication, & real-time status updates. Competitor analysis provided insights into existing solutions & market gaps.

2. Information Architecture & User Flows

Based on our research, I directed the team in mapping out comprehensive user flows, outlining how users would navigate the application to complete critical tasks. This led to the development of a logical information architecture, ensuring all features were easily accessible & intuitive.

3. Wireframing & Low-Fidelity Prototyping

I oversaw the creation of low-fidelity wireframes that sketched out the basic layout & functionality of each screen. These were then assembled into an interactive prototype, allowing us to quickly test initial concepts & gather early feedback.

4. Visual Design & Branding

Leveraging the established Servativ brand guidelines, my team & I developed the visual design language for the application. This included defining the color palette, typography, iconography, & overall aesthetic. The Servativ Brandbook & initial logo sketches were crucial in maintaining brand consistency. The logo, for instance, was designed to convey "Fast Service + From Top to the Bottom" with movement & structure, a principle we carried into the UI.

5. High-Fidelity Prototyping & Usability Testing

Working in Figma, we transformed the wireframes into high-fidelity prototypes that closely resembled the final product. I led multiple rounds of usability testing with actual users, meticulously collecting feedback. This feedback was critical for refining the user experience, addressing usability issues, & making necessary adjustments before development.

6. Development Handoff & Quality Assurance

I worked closely with the development team, providing detailed design specifications, asset exports, & ongoing support to ensure the implemented application accurately reflected the approved designs. Regular check-ins & design reviews were conducted to maintain quality & consistency.

Outcome

Servativ successfully launched on both Google Play & the App Store, enabling Kleanwerex to manage jobs efficiently. The application provides: - Real-time Job Management: Allowing managers to track recent and future tasks instantly. - Improved Communication: Centralized notifications reduce the need for constant phone calls. - Operational Clarity: A clear overview of all cleaning operations, leading to better decision-making. This project stands as a testament to my ability to lead complex design initiatives, drive innovation, & deliver impactful digital products that meet client needs & exceed user expectations.
